Focus and Scope
Al’Adalah: Journal of Islamic Studies is a double-anonymous, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles and critical analyses on contemporary issues at the intersection of Islamic ethics, digital transformation, social justice, environmental sustainability, and contemporary Islamic thought in Muslim societies and global contexts. The journal covers the following areas:

Al’Adalah: Journal of Islamic Studies places special emphasis on contributions that:
a. Articulate clear ethical, legal, and social implications of Islam in contemporary digital-ecological transformations;
b. Demonstrate strong theoretical framing and/or methodological rigour (including empirical and case-study designs); and
c. Engage interdisciplinary and cross-regional conversations with globally relevant scholarly contributions.
