No submission fee is charged for manuscripts submitted to Al’Adalah: Journal of Islamic Studies.

Article Publication

Al’Adalah: Journal of Islamic Studies is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely accessible and may be read and downloaded without charge.

To support the costs of editorial management, copyediting, DOI registration, layout and PDF production, online publication, and the maintenance of the journal’s digital publishing infrastructure, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to manuscripts accepted for publication following the peer-review process.

For accepted manuscripts, authors are required to pay an APC of IDR 2,000,000 per article. However, this APC is waived for foreign (non-Indonesian) authors. Payment is requested only after a manuscript has received a formal decision of acceptance, as notified by email or through the author’s journal account.

Articles will proceed to publication only after payment has been confirmed, except in the case of foreign authors who are exempt from the APC.
